Marc Josloff is a self-described “artaholic;” in addition to image-making as painter /photographer, he is president and facilitator for the Long Island Center of Photography, president of the Freeport Concert Association, and after 27 years teaching art in the NYC Public schools, Marc became an instructor at the National Art League in Douglaston. He also keeps busy judging art exhibitions, giving demos, workshops and lecture presentations.
Marc was touted as “One of 11 Artists to Watch” in the 2004 edition of “Artist Magazine and has work in many permanent collections, including The Art Students League of NY and The NYS Museum. He was an international prize-winner in Canada’s “PhotoLife Magazine” and has received numerous “Best-in-Show” awards in painting and photography.
Marc’s images can best be described as “droll, gently mysterious and arresting.”
